Last Days in the States...

It's only 3 days until Jeffrey and I leave the US and head out to the great country of England! Loads has happened to prepare for leaving in the last couple days/weeks.... First off, we finally finished cleaning our house, after what seemed like forever of cleaning. I really didn't realize how dirty my house was until everything was gone and I was forced to scrub the entire thing! Our housing inspection is tomorrow at 10am and both Jeffrey and I are kinda nervous. This will be our first base housing inspection and since we moved into a brand new house, we have heard it will be brutal! I guess anything we will just see if we end up paying for anything major to be fixed. We will most likely have to pay for the lawn since we were supposed to have the grass grown and green, but being that it snowed 2 days ago...it doesn't look great...I am hoping all our hard work in the effort to save money and clean the house ourselves will actually pay off. I am officially not the Presid...

Mama said there'd be days like this...

With only a few days left until my 26th birthday I got to thinking about all my past birthdays and what I was doing and how my life was during that time. The first thought to come to mind was the year I was 17. I remember it so vividly:) My best friend and I were laying out to get a tan at the pool at my parents house. All we could talk about was how we wanted to lose weight and how we should work out more. We asked my mom to take a picture of us so we could see ourselves and have motivation for loosing weight. I'll never forget what my Mom said as she was taking the picture. She said "Girls, some day you are going to look back on this picture and be amazed at how good you looked and wish you looked like you do now" We just rolled our eyes and thought that there is no way we would ever think that! Haha, it's funny to say but my Mom was so right! It's sad to say that I have never been in better shape or weighed less since that time and thinking about it made me s...

Leaving is really so Sad!

So I haven't blogged in a while because I have been out of town and staying pretty busy. I was down in Texas for over 2 weeks and so loved it! It's amazing how much I missed my family and friends even when I was with them. I guess it's because I know I won't be seeing everyone for a very long time. I surprised myself at how much I wanted to cry when saying good-bye to so many people. I don't usually consider myself a very emotional person -and maybe I can blame it on the pregnancy hormones- but I have cried three times in the last three weeks! All I can think about is that my life is going to completely change and no one will be around to change with me. I am going to have a baby and become a mother! It's just a weird concept that none of my sisters, or my mom, my best friends or anyone else from back home will be able to witness this huge event in my life.  Besides saying goodbye to all my family and friends in Texas last week, in a month I have to sa...

So What do I do Now?

Image
So as my time here in Montana gets shorter and shorter,so does at my time at my jobs here. Since I will be headed to Texas for a 2 week visit in April, and then be crazy with packing and moving in May, I have decided to make March the last month of work for me... I only have a few more shifts left at the Boutique (a quaint downtown clothing shop where I work part time) and only a few more weeks at The Collins Mansion. I started working the summer I was 15 years old, when I took my first job at the Bulverde Bakery. Ever since then I have worked. Except for the months I lived in Australia, I have always worked. I am not sure what I am going to do with myself. It's a weird concept not to be looking for a job in the place we are moving. I haven't decided whether or not to be a working mom eventually (kinda just gonna see how it goes and see how I feel when the time comes) But I know for sure that I will want at least the first few months at home with the baby, so that means ...
Hello everyone! It has been suggested to me by several people that I should blogging since I will soon be moving around the world and having my first baby! There is so much going on that I feel the only way to let everyone know whats going on is to actually keep up with this blog:) I will try to post updates as much as I can so sorry if I end up sharing wayyyy too much! Here it goes, hope everyone enjoys! Right now, I am nearly 19 weeks pregnant, it is March 12, 2012. We get to find out the sex of the baby in 2 weeks! I am excited to know for sure, but I just feel so certain that it is a boy already, so we'll see if my gut feeling is right.  I felt the baby move for the first time about a week ago. I wasn't quite sure if I was feeling the right thing, but after a few days I was sure. Sometimes I feel like it's so crazy that a person is actually growing inside me! It's still hard to believe that I am almost half way through the pregnancy sheesh. As far as moving to E...
